This Program gives you everything you need to help parents and caregivers raise bilingual or multilingual children. First, we provide you with our signature, 6-step system that you will learn to implement in your coaching sessions. We’ll be sure that you get all the expertise and practice you need to use it effectively with parents. Then, we’ll help you create your own unique services that are custom-built around your strengths, personal interests and goals. We’ll teach you how to reach the people who need your help; and we’ll give you all the tools, resources and marketing support to get started. Within 1 month of completing our Program, our goal is for you to have at least two strong leads that can kick-start your Parent Coaching Business.
This Program is not suited to everyone, however. We only work with a small group of people who have the right mix of skills, potential and desire to succeed. We know that by selecting the right people to become Bilingual & Multilingual Parent Coaches, we are increasing their chance of success. WHO IS LEADING THIS PROGRAM?
Our Co-Founders, Alison Schofield and Francesca McGeary, will be guiding you through this Coaching Program. They’re entrepreneurs who have over 15 years experience running their own successful businesses. Their backgrounds span education, disability services, counseling, linguistics and behavioural therapy. They have also had extensive training in marketing, copywriting, authoring, and online business creation. As well as being social entrepreneurs, they’ve also developed unique businesses for the education industry. One of their biggest achievements to-date is helping a private equity company turn-around their failing business in just 3 months! Our Co-founders are qualified mentors with a passion for people. You can expect to learn all their entrepreneurial secrets and strategies, in addition to gaining more insights from others in your cohort.

All of our BML Parent Coaches continue to receive ongoing support at no additional cost in our online Coaching Community. This is a place for them to continue to learn, ask questions and get access to regular, live calls. Being part of the Coaching Community allows them to share their real-world experiences as they go through each stage of launching their businesses or Programs.
WHO IS WELL-SUITED TO BECOMING A BILINGUAL & MULTILINGUAL PARENT COACH? HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR…
You have proven leadership skills with people. You’ve been a leader in some capacity and you enjoyed it. For instance, you might have been some kind of teacher, life-coach, a sports coach, a trainer, a coordinator, team-leader or even a religious teacher. These are just a few ideas.

You are interested in helping children and families and will go the extra mile to support them.

You have a personal interest or connection to languages, cultures and/or multilingualism (although it’s great if you are bilingual or multilingual yourself, it’s not a requirement).

FAQs
Do I need to be bilingual or multilingual myself to be a BML Parent Coach?
While it is of course desirable, it is not necessary. You can still be a strong support and advocate for bilingual and multilingual children and families. Part of your role is to connect parents to community resources and supports, and these should be based on the languages and cultures of your families.
One major advantage you have if you are bilingual or multilingual yourself is that you can provide your Coaching Services to your parents/caregivers in your own languages. This is ideal.
Do I need to be a Parent or Caregiver Myself to be a BML Parent Coach?
Again, it’s not necessary because you are still able to educate, guide and support parents with successful strategies and approaches. It can be an advantage if you’re a parent or caregiver yourself because this can give you additional insights. However, if you are not a parent, we will still be able to help you connect to your clients through your own strengths and unique experiences.
I've never been a Parent Coach or Worked with Parents before. Will I be Successful?
There are specific characteristics of people who are well-suited to becoming BML Parent Coaches. They have a mix of previously-demonstrated leadership abilities combined with ‘people skills.’ We will be able to advise you if you have the right potential for thriving in this business. Also, don’t forget that you will become trained in our methods and systems and you will also get opportunities to try-out or practice with real clients before you go out on your own! You will be guided every step of the way.
Running a successful Coaching business includes being able to generate leads and clients consistently. These are some of the most important skills that you will be learning throughout the Program. We will help you identify where your best customers are and show you how to create systems that help you run a successful and sustainable business.
How much is the Program?
The cost of the Bilingual and Multilingual Parent Coaching Program is £2,499 (approximately $3,000 USD). If you join for our very first Introductory cohort, you will receive a 40% discount.
Keep in mind that this is a high-level Program designed and led by experts who have already created successful businesses. The amount of information, support and guidance you will receive in this Program are invaluable. You will also gain lifetime access to our BML Parent Coaching Community – an online network of other BML Parent Coaches who are just like you.
CAN I PAY IN INSTALMENTS?
Yes. We offer a payment plan for non-discounted cohorts. We do not provide a payment plan option for our Introductory Program beginning December 6th, 2023.
Can you guarantee my success?
Unfortunately, we cannot make any guarantees about your success as a Bilingual and Multilingual Parent Coach. There are many factors that contribute to your success. Some are related to your personality, drive, decision-making skills and even your ability to direct your own day-to-day schedule. Once you apply, we will let you know if we feel you are a good candidate. We’ll be honest if we feel you are not suited to the Program in order to avoid wasting your time and money.
Are Bilingual & Multilingual Parent Coaches a 'Real Thing?'
Yes! There are actually many people running their own businesses doing this already around the world. We decided to create our own Coaching Program in order to spread our company impact as well as create specific standards of excellence. Our long-term goal is to have some of our successful BML Parent Coaches become trainers through their own languages and within their own communities. In this way, we can support so many more parents and caregivers to hold onto their languages/cultures and even add new ones if they want!
I have ADHD. Does this mean I would not be a good Bilingual and Multilingual Parent Coach?
Definitely not! In fact, some of the most successful people with learning and attentional differences thrive when they’re able to create their own businesses, work routines and structures. It’s all about being aware of what works for you in terms of being productive, staying organized and setting a few priorities each week. We provide you with specific tools and strategies that can help you to thrive with the learning sessions; and also with your follow-up activities.
